Senior Recreation Regular Schedule
Woodstock Senior Recreation continues to provide a variety of low-cost activities to residents 55 and older.
Age-appropriate exercise classes include Yoga, Pilates, dance and strength/cardio workouts. A painting studio class, drama and improv workshop, writing group and Bridge Club round out the schedule.
Senior Rec activities moved to summer venues June 22 through August 14 but have resumed the regular schedule.

UCRRA Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
Notice from the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency (UCRRA) Recycling Outreach Team
UCRRA is now accepting appointments for their next Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Event on Saturday, August 22nd at their New Paltz facility from 8:00 am to noon. Residents can register using their new Eventbrite ticketing system, making it easy to reserve an appointment and receive automated reminders. Private Well PFAS Testing and Mitigation Rebate Pilot Program
If your home runs on well water, you may qualify for a new rebate program that can help you test and clean your water supply.
New York’s Private Well PFAS Testing & Mitigation Rebate Pilot Program offers free testing for harmful PFAS chemicals, which can contaminate well water. If your well tests positive, the program can help cover the cost to fix it.
The program has been accepting testing applications for Dutchess and Putnam Counties and is now accepting testing applications for Ulster County. Applications are first-come, first-served while funding is available.
Eligible households can receive:
- Free PFAS water testing for your private well
- Up to $5,000 to install a water treatment system
- Up to $10,000 to connect your home to public water
