Kenneth L. Wilson Campground and Day Use Area

859 Wittenberg Road, Mt. Tremper

A campground and day use area completely surrounded by beautiful mountains with panoramic views creating a picturesque setting. The campsites are secluded, large, and wooded.

Woodstock Garden Club

Currently inactive, undergoing changes in membership, as many members have retired or moved away. In the past, held monthly meetings and enjoyed lively talks on gardening and nature. Maintain a garden in the Village, at the intersection of 212 and 375. Interested in compiling a list of community members who are interested in joining.

Woodstock Land Conservancy (WLC)

Committed to the protection and preservation of the open lands, forests, water resources, scenic areas and historic mission sites in Woodstock and the surrounding area; conserving forests which absorb carbon, preserving fields, mountains, wetlands, clean air and water, streams; supporting farming, logging, and tourism; safeguarding important habitats for wildlife and plant ecosystems

The attached Comeau Saplings file, besides sharing information about illegal cutting of saplings on the Comeau property, mentions the WLC oversees the conservation easement on the 75-acre Comeau property and works collaboratively with the Comeau Stewardship Advisory Committee (CSAC) and the town to monitor the property.
