March 16, 2026 Meeting

Meeting called to order at 4:34 PM.

Members Present:

Changes/Additions to Meeting Agenda:

No changes or additions.

Review and Approval of Minutes:

The February 16, 2026 minutes were approved as amended.

Public-Be-Heard:

• Jim Savio attended interested in knowing more about the Ethics Board. Paul gave a brief overview of the Ethics Board's mission.

General Discussion:

• The Ethics Board webpage incorrectly says two meetings a year instead of six. An email will be sent to the current webmaster to correct it.
• April 20, 2026 meeting is canceled.

Executive Session:

A motion was made and carried to go into Executive Session at 4:45 PM.

• Case 2025-2
  • A letter will be sent to the Town Board closing out the case.
• Case 2026-1
  • A letter will be sent to the person seeking an interpretation of the Ethics Law.
• Disclosure forms
  • Letters will be sent to the three people from last meeting who identified possible conflicts on their disclosure forms.
  • Reviewed three additional disclosure forms. Only two require a response.
  • Current status of still outstanding disclosure forms was discussed.
  • A list of people who have not completed their disclosure forms will be sent to the Supervisor for information and/or action, including a request that the Town Supervisor’s office inform the Ethics Board of changes to the rosters of Town Employees so that we can have an accurate list of those who have not completed their disclosure forms.

A motion was made and carried to exit the Executive Session at 5:25 PM.
