RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ONE YEAR TERMS FOR MEMBERS OF THE TREE COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Town Board previously established a Tree Committee to advise the Town on matters related to tree stewardship, conservation, planning, and community education; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board desires to set clear and consistent term lengths for all members serving on the Tree Committee; and
WHEREAS, establishing defined terms will promote transparency, broaden opportunities for community participation, and ensure regular review of committee membership and responsibilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby establishes that all appointed members of the Tree Committee shall serve one‑year terms; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that members may be reappointed for additional terms at the discretion of the Town Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and all members terms will expire on December 31, 2026.
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING HIGHWAY RESIGNATION
BE IT RESOLVED, to accept the resignation of Carson D. Hotlaing from the Highway Department effective March 27, 2026, and be it further resolved to thank Carson for his service to the Town of Woodstock.
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 61-2026
WHEREAS, the minutes of the meeting held on January 20, 2026, were previously approved; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board that the approved minutes contained information that requires amendment to accurately reflect the actions taken at that meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the minutes of the meeting dated January 20, 2026, are hereby amended as shown in Attachment A:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amended minutes shall be entered into the official records of the organization and shall replace the corresponding portions of the previously approved minutes.
RESOLUTION APPOINTING VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC PROSECUTOR
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board appoint Attorney Michael Resnick as Vehicle and Traffic Prosecutor to the Court, effective immediately and ending December 31, 2026.
RESOLUTION APPOINTING SPECIAL PROSECUTOR
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board appoint Attorney Kerri Leslie Yamashita as Special Prosecutor to the Court, effective immediately and ending December 31, 2026.
RESOLUTION APPOINTING ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS ALTERNATE MEMBER
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby appoints Howard Harris as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, effective immediately, to serve until December 31, 2026.
TRANSFER FROM THE CODES UPDATE RESERVE TO THE GENERAL FUND
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes the transfer of up to $5,100.00 from the Codes Update Reserve (A0240.02600) to the 2026 Budget, line A1460.40000, to fund a code upgrade pursuant to the attached invoice; and
WHEREAS, the transfer of funds from the Codes Update Reserve (A0240.02600) is subject to permissive referendum in accordance with Article 7 of New York State Town Law;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to publish the following notice in the official newspaper of the Town:

Please take notice that on March 3, 2026, the Woodstock Town Board adopted a resolution authorizing the transfer of up to $5,100.00 from the Codes Update Reserve (A0240.02600) to fund a code upgrade pursuant to the attached contract.
This resolution is subject to permissive referendum pursuant to the provisions of Article 7 of New York State Town Law.

RESOLUTION PROMOTING EMPLOYEE TO GRADE 6
BE IT RESOLVED, that Anthony Marciano is hereby promoted to Grade 6, effective February 24, 2026 with the corresponding compensation, responsibilities, and privileges associated with this grade level.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the relevant departments including HR, Payroll, and the employee’s direct supervisor, shall take all necessary steps to implement this promotion and update organizational records accordingly.
