Originally formed by Town Board Resolution 160-2019, the Zoning Revision Committee (ZRC) looks at zoning related issues spelled out by the 2018 Comprehensive Plan. This committee may also address zoning issues not specifically noted in the Comprehensive Plan. The ZRC provides zoning revision recommendations to the Woodstock Town Board in the form of proposed law updates.
Laws drafted by the ZRC and provided to the Woodstock Town Board: The Telecommunications Law and the Water District Wellhead Protection Law, both adopted by the Woodstock Town Board in December 2022, the Fences, Walls, and Gates Law adopted by the Woodstock Town Board in September 2025, and the Scenic Overlay Law, adopted by the Woodstock Town Board in December 2025.
