The purpose of this meeting, called by Laura Ricci, is for our DEC regional Urban Forester, Amy MacKenzie, to offer guidance to our Woodstock Tree Committee, as they discuss how to proceed with the Tree Grant application due Wednesday, August 12, at 2:00 pm. 

Reference materials attendees may review prior to the meeting, to give a basic understanding of what it will take for the grant application to be successful:

1. The Grant Training Webinar at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-oghB0DyFY. This is a 2-hour recording in two parts, 1) the Grant Application, and 2) the State Financial System (SFS) to be used to submit the grant. The Grant Application portion of that recording is relevant to this meeting. 
2. The Request for Application (RFA) document at https://dec.ny.gov/sites/default/files/2026-05/ucf2026rfa.pdf. This document describes what we need to know about the Grant Application.
