NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Woodstock hereby schedules a public hearing on Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2026 for the 22nd day of September, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Woodstock Town Offices, 45 Comeau Drive, Woodstock, NY 12498; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of such public hearing in the official Town newspaper and to post such notice on the Town’s official sign board and website, not less than ten (10) days before the date of the hearing, as required by Section 20(5) of the Municipal Home Rule Law; and be it further
RESOLVED, that a copy of the Proposed Local Law shall be available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk during normal business hours.

Woodstock Senior Recreation continues to provide a variety of low-cost activities to residents 55 and older.
Age-appropriate exercise classes include Yoga, Pilates, dance and strength/cardio workouts. A painting studio class, drama and improv workshop, writing group and Bridge Club round out the schedule.
Senior Rec activities moved to summer venues June 22 through August 14 but have resumed the regular schedule.

New York’s Private Well PFAS Testing & Mitigation Rebate Pilot Program offers free testing for harmful PFAS chemicals, which can contaminate well water. If your well tests positive, the program can help cover the cost to fix it.
The program has been accepting testing applications for Dutchess and Putnam Counties and is now accepting testing applications for Ulster County. Applications are first-come, first-served while funding is available.
